“Starting with the staff in the reception area, I was treated professionally and efficiently. Wait times were acceptable. Dr. Shapiro is a great person who is very knowledgeable in his field and quickly diagnosed me once he reviewed the MRI. Unfortunately, he diagnosed my torn meniscus, which he could not repair due to the torn area. I guess he could have done the surgery, but it will just tear again, as he said. He surgically repaired my torn elbow tendon, and I am now recovering nicely. The experience for the initial diagnosis on my elbow injury to the surgery at the hospital went extremely well, and I am so happy I was referred by my family Dr. to Dr. Shapiro, and his staff at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute for my care.”
