“Dr. Briseno is my kind of doctor. He not only provides very professional information regarding my back issues but took a few moments to wish me congratulations on my recent marriage. He gave me several alternatives regarding my back pain and encouraged me to come back if I wanted to discuss other options further.”

“I broke my knee cap late on a Thursday as I returned from vacation. The emergency room physician suggests I see an orthopedic surgeon the first thing the next morning. I called the NTO office the following day to determine if I could get an appointment, and Dr. Briseño agreed to see me that afternoon after the office got closed. Thanks to him and PA-C Boise, I am completely healed with no surgery. Best experience I have had with any doctor's office.”

Back Reviews

“Dr. Breseno did surgery on my back when other doctors told me that surgery was not an option. I took the chance with your doctor, and it turned out great. I have no pain; I gained 4 inches in height as I was in so much pain I was bent over really bad. The pain I had was unbearable. I am so happy with my experience. Thank you so much!”

“I am an 84-year-old retired military and an ex jogger with family-related arthritis. I have had neck problems in the past but have been able to ease my pain through exercise. Late 2019 I developed severe pain in my back and neck and was unable to continue my level of activity. I was also experiencing a stringent standard of anxiety in standing or without a walker in assistance. Through visits and examinations to include MRIs and x-rays, Dr. Briseno recommended back surgery, which I underwent on the 23rd of Jan. The surgery went quite well with only an overnight stay in the hospital. This eased my pain a great deal, except I needed further examination to included an injection. I am exceptionally well pleased with my low or complete absence of pain level and am awaiting a call from a rehabilitation facility in Roanoke. I am exceptionally well happy with my level of treatment and examination provided by North Texas Orthopedics & Spine Center. They are extraordinarily efficient and provided excellent service.”

“I went to see Dr. Briseno regarding my lower back/sciatica issues. After his consultation, he provided me with options for treatment. I hesitantly chose to have a microdiscectomy. Dr. Briseno was very thorough with what I was to expect pre and post-surgery as the main message was "quality of life" and my ability to do the one thing I love to do play basketball. It has been about two or three years post-surgery, and I haven't had any relapses at all from the procedure. Yes, I have gained a few pounds, but I am not complaining. I am back to playing basketball, and I have Dr. Briseno to thank for that!”

“I was only able to walk with a cane before I went into surgery. I was to spend the night in the hospital the night of the operation, but when I woke up in recovery, the pain was gone, and I didn't have any problems with my left leg. I ask if I could use the restroom and get told yes, but I would have to walk. I said that was fine. When I came out, instead of going straight back to my bed, I danced around the nurse's station. They said I was doing so well there was no need for me to stay. When I left the hospital, they gave me something for pain. That was the last pain meds that I have taken. This was like a miracle.”
