“I went to Dr. Darmafall with a significant knee injury. Torn ACL, LCL, IT band, meniscus, and hamstring. I was very active, so this was devastating for me. I was extremely depressed and in a lot of pain. Dr. Darmafall gave me all the details of my injury and told me what to expect going forward. She told me we were going to be friends because my rehab is 12-18 months. We would see a lot of each other. Honestly, I couldn't imagine how I was going to come back from this. Dr. Darmafall performed the surgery and came in a talked with me the next day at the hospital. Her staff has also been amazing! This was the first surgery I've ever had, and I'm 51. I had a lot of questions, and her staff returned all my phone calls and was always extremely friendly and helpful. I'm now 16 weeks post-op, and I'm already walking and feeling so much better. I can see the light at the end of a very long tunnel, and I have Dr. Darmafall to thank for that. We are very fortunate that she moved to our area. She is, by far, the nicest doctor I've ever met and so encouraging. I'm so thankful for her.”
