“At our recent visit, Dr. Schilling and I had a detailed discussion about the treatment of my finger joints, severely damaged by erosive osteoarthritis. As usual, Dr. Schilling was fully engaged and provided detailed information about my concerns regarding what I should and should not do with my disabled hand. Although he is very busy, I never got the sense that the discussion was rushed. Dr. Schilling has looked after my finger joints, afflicted with a rare and painful variant of osteoarthritis known as erosive osteoarthritis, for some years. Always conservative in his approach, Dr. Schilling recommended we take my surgical intervention one joint at a time and stop when my arthritic pain was bearable. It is no overstatement to declare that thanks to this reduction in pain, I got my life back.”
