“Dr. John Baldauf is very good. He did a total knee replacement for me. Other doctors sent me to therapy, and I knew it was my knee. When Dr. Baldauf saw me and looked at my x-rays. The first question he asked me was, how soon did I want him to replace my knee? I was amazed when I woke up after the surgery. The back pain I had was totally gone. Plus my knee replacement went very well. I couldn't be happier.”

“Dr. John Baldauf performed two minor procedures on my left knee years ago. He did such a good job that I haven't had to return to Desert Orthopaedic Center. But, if I have any issues regarding my knees, it would be wonderful to return to Dr. Baldauf for his help and support. Thank you kindly, always. Congratulations on 50 years of service to the southern, Nevada community. Way To Go DOC. Here's to another 50 years!”

“I had arthroscopic knee surgery on my left and right knee. After Dr. Baldauf looked and my X-rays we scheduled the surgeries about a month apart, it's been almost two years, and I feel great! I am back to enjoy walking, running occasionally, biking and the great outdoors! I referred a friend of my parents named Patty; she is so happy with working with Dr. Baldauf and the staff, after her arthroscopic knee surgery, she is feeling great, and thanked me so much! I recommend Dr. Baldauf any chance I hear of the need for a joint replacement specialist- shoulder, hip, and knee. Thank you, Dr. John M. Baldauf, M.D., as I am living my life to the fullest every day!”

Hip Reviews

“From the CNA to Dr. Baldauf's surgical team, my experience was amazing. I could not have asked for a better team to have this procedure done. I had spinal anesthesia, and I would recommend that procedure to anyone. They went through the time to explain it to me and designed a surgery protocol that was best for me. The recovery team was attentive and responsive. My physical therapist, Scott, goes above and beyond to make sure I’m getting the progress I need.”

“My Primary Care Physician, Dr. Justin Striblen, Sundance Med Center, referred me to Dr. John M Baldauf in mid-September, to determine the severity of my right-hip pain and limp. After the consultation and x-ray review, he recommended surgery ASAP with Arthroplasty Total Right-Hip Replacement. Surgery got performed at the new Henderson Hospital on October 8th & I returned home on October 11th. Recovery described and recommended, and we had no complications with Home Health Care for two weeks, and my Wife Gloria & two-adult Daughters assisting. All went very well, with regular calls from both the Hospital and DOC, and my DOC Rehab Therapy commenced on November 12th and got completed on January 7th. I will be celebrating my 85th birthday on April 10th, and am now walking pain-free. Dr. Baldauf and his PAs and DOC Staff were very thorough before & after the surgery, and I highly recommend them all.”

“Streamlined process to see the doctor. The doctor was great. He explained my situation to me, and it has worked out just fine. Surgery was not needed, and the doctor informed me of that early on. I would recommend these guys to anyone.”

“Dr. Baldauf was great, and making my shoulder feel better. It is still exceptional today. I also had Joseph Nova on my second visit, and he was so lovely to me.”

Shoulder Reviews

“My knees, hips, shoulders were perfect. I keep saying bones are the easiest. My shoulders still give me a good deal of pain. Partly because I so fall a bit. When I do, I tend to try to catch myself with my right arm and shoulder. Not on purpose. My Dr. has told me all is well with the right shoulder replacement. I feel I need to have him check the left one now; it gives me a lot of pain to try to use it. With all of the joint replacements, I feel a part of the DOC family.”
