“I have had several issues with my feet, especially my toes, due to a staff infection in the joint of the big toe on my right foot. I had to have that joint fused eventually. Once that was done by Dr. Seaworth, the two toes next to it were crowding in on each other, causing me pain. The appliance used to fuse my big toe was also causing me pain when wearing most any shoe. We scheduled surgery, and I remember right before I got taken back to the operating room, Dr. Seaworth talked with me, and I asked her if she was going to be able to make the 3rd toe straighten up. She maneuvered my toes and footed some and then said it wouldn't be perfect, but it will be much better. She did the surgery in February, and it is now four months later. I have no pain at all in my foot. My toe is much better positioned, and one more thing I would like to draw attention to is when I do follow up appointments with Dr. Seaworth; she always asks me what questions I have for her. Every single time. She then addresses my issues and asks if there are any other questions or concerns I have. She intently listens.”
