“Met with Dr. Simons 2 years ago, I was having lots of discomfort and pain with my knee replacement that was 16 years old. After an X-ray of my knee it was determined that it had to be replaced. Dr. Simons did the surgery and I was very satisfied with the results. Met with Dr. Simons this summer and looking at my X-ray of the new knee he told me that everything look good. I am back to maintaining my yard and my gardening and am back to playing golf.”

“From the first day I walked into Dr. Simons office I felt at ease. The staff were kind and courteous and knowledgeable about what I was there for and what I might experience. I could not have felt more welcome. X-rays personnel were so kind to everyone even though they were full of patients waiting. The techs were fast but personable. When I met Dr. Simons I was put as easy by his friendly demeanor and he actually put his hands on my knee to see what and here I was in pain. Actually had two doctors before...well not actually doctors, never saw the doctors, but no one took the time to talk seriously with me until Dr. Simons. Thank you by the way. The surgery went, from what I heard, very well, I was awake and walking in a couple of hours. Must say that the anesthesiologist did a fantastic job of putting me out. Also a big thank you...There is so much more I could say about the entire experience but I fear I do not have much more space. Overall my experience thru the procedures as a whole is a awesome thumbs up for all concerned. I have never been in a surgical situation where I have felt so much love. Thank you to all for making my knee replacement a very pleasant experience.”

“I saw Dr. Simons regarding a past knee replacement a couple of years ago, and at that appointment, Dr. Simons found a massive tumor in my entire thigh. It was not my knee at all. He then referred me to Stanford, and luckily it was removed and was not malignant. He was thorough he explained and took his time and told me why he referred me to Stanford. He is so calming and kind. I saw him today as my back and hip has been hurting, and then he thoroughly explained what was wrong in my hip. He also told me how a hip replacement was so different from a knee replacement, that it was so much less recuperation time, and usually, the surgery only takes an hour. I will have that hip replacement very soon. Dr. Simons is a kind and very considerate.”
